About Our Team

Graham Benn started Benny’s Grafton Smash Repairs in 1993 and Nathan, Graham’s son, became his apprentice in 1999. In 2000 Graham’s vision of a purpose built Smash Repair facility came to be at the current location of 44 Villiers St, Grafton. Graham retired in 2014 and Nathan became the new owner of Benny’s Grafton Smash Repairs. Like his father before him, Nathan was born and grew up in the Clarence Valley. They are true blue locals with a deep love of the valley.

Both men share a passion for smash repairs and this is evident is their approach to the trade. Nathan believes that keeping up to date with technology and techniques as well as employing apprentices and training our tradesman in the latest techniques is the best way to serve the residents of the Clarence Valley and surrounding districts.

Since 2014 Nathan has invested heavily in new equipment including commissioning a second spray booth, dedicated paint prep room and dust extraction units in the paint prep area and installing Glasurit water bourne paint. He has also installed 130 solar panels. Nathan is well aware that all of these initiatives are also great for our environment.
